Omsk Carbon Group European Offices Celebrate their First Anniversary
In October, the German Town of Waltrop, where the European office of Omsk Carbon Group is located, have seen a special event marking the fifth year of operations by the German and Romanian offices in overseas markets.
Five years ago, the German office became Omsk Carbon Group’s first international division. The Romanian office was established in that same year of 2012. Today heroes of the anniversary amid the festive atmosphere hosted guests, representing partner companies, service and logistical entities and regular customers – more than 40 invitees in total. The guests learned more about the facilities of Omsk Carbon Group’s overseas office in Europe. They were shown the operation of cutting-edge warehouses and a quality control lab in Waltrop.
As a host, Tomasz CELKA, Head of the European Office, opened the official part. He thanked all of his partners for the many years of cooperation, expressed his hope for its continuation on a mutually beneficial basis, resulting in new agreements and contracts with companies, and extended wishes of strengthening both business relations and personal contacts”.
Nina OBVINTSEVA, General Director, Omsk Carbon Group OOO, summarized the international offices’ history, which has been short yet full of events:
— The first three years, marked by energetic development of the offices, gave a clear signal to the entire European market and customers. Since 2016, the German office has been responsible for all of the company’s European operations, its sales and distribution in Europe”.
The operations by the OCG office in the Balkans received a very good feedback too.
—The dynamic development of the Romanian office has enabled us to respond to market changes much faster and more efficiently, meet the needs of European customers and further improve our service, Vasile POPESCU, Head of the Romanian office, noted.
The guests watched a Power Point presentation about operations by Omsk Carbon Group. A recent-year analysis has shown that every employee of the company, including all international business units, has made a contribution into the overall production achievements. There were favorable comments on how aligned the current team of managers and specialists is. Innovation and the scope of new challenges leave them undaunted.
